Welcome to Regent Oaks at Freehold in Monmouth County. This is a 55 and older adult community, where at least one member of the household must be 55 years of age or older, and no member of the household can be younger less than 19 years of age. This community is designed to meet the Township's "fair share" of the growing need for affordable housing in New Jersey. Regent Oaks at Freehold includes 23 two- bedroom, very-low, low- and moderate- income homes for sale to income- and age- qualified households. A random selection was held on October 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. for all preliminary applications received on or before 3:00 PM, August 15th, 2023. During the final application process, a preference will be given to households that live or work in Housing Region 4 (Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties). Regent Oaks is being constructed in phases. The prices for the affordable units of each phase will be assessed based on the affordable regulations in place at the time each phase commences.
