This privacy policy sets out how Piazza & Associates, Inc. uses and protects any information, related to Community Management, that you give Piazza & Associates, Inc. when you use this web site or submit information to us on the telephone, in writing, though the mail or by way of facsimile.

Piazza & Associates, Inc. is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this web site, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Piazza & Associates, Inc. may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from May 30, 2009.

The personal and financial information that we collect, in person, via telephone, mail and facsimile is limited to information required by us to perform our duties as administrators and managers for the communities that engage us to do so. Other information may be collected specifically to meet fair housing requirements as mandated by state and/or federal agencies.

What we do with the information we gather:
We make our best effort to keep all personal and financial information private and secure. We do not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties, except as follows.

Only to the extent necessary, information that we receive may be shared with:

  • The Board of Trustees or Directors of the Community of the resident;
  • Sub-Committees of the Board that may be tasked to collect certain information as authorized by the Board;
  • Other members of the Community that may be directly affected by the actions or inactions of a particular resident;
  • The Attorney and Auditor for the Community;
  • Our successors as Managers for the Community;
  • Government entities that require us to provide the information as allowed by law.

In the event of an emergency or suspected unlawful activity, we may share information with other members of the Community, as well as local , county, state and federal authorities, as may be deemed necessary by us, in our sole discretion.

Statistical data, that does not include names or other personal identifiers may be shared with other agencies for compliance to fair housing laws, and for the purpose of creating or enhancing Community Management services.

Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Email Newsletter Subscription Service
On this web site, we collect contact information so that we can distribute our newsletter and otherwise notify interested parties and provide information that we, in our sole discretion,determine to be useful to the intended recipients. This subscription service is optional and voluntary, and may be discontinued at at time. Participation in this service is not considered in connection with the merits of an application for affordable housing. The email newsletter subscription service is provided and maintained by by a third party provider and is subject to the Constant Contact Privacy Policy (click the Constant Contact logo for details.)
